Corporate Sponsorship & Public Donation Policy

FIREFIGHTER CHARLIE INC (the "Company") is a non-profit organization dedicated to youth development, fire safety education, and the support of both current and future First Responders. Our mission is primarily achieved through Firefighter Charlie’s Junior Program and the distribution of educational literature. This Corporate Sponsorship & Public Donation Policy (the "Policy") governs the acceptance, designation, and management of funds received from individual donors and corporate entities.
General public donations are considered unrestricted unless otherwise specified by the donor in writing at the time of the contribution. All public donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
3.1 Corporate Sponsorship Funds
All funds received from Corporate Sponsors shall be designated and applied to the specific categories and programs as outlined in the Corporate Sponsor Program. These designations ensure that corporate contributions are utilized for their intended educational or charitable purpose.
3.2 Residual and Forever Sponsor Funds
In the event that funds remain following the completion of a specific event or program, or in the case of a "Forever Sponsor" (recurring or long-term sponsorship), such funds shall be transferred to the Firefighter Charlie Inc. General Fund.
All funds deposited into the General Fund will be managed and expended in strict accordance with IRS 501(c)(3) regulations. These resources will be used exclusively to promote the mission of Firefighter Charlie Inc., which includes educating youth on fire safety and prevention, and supporting the community and first responders.
The Company will provide a written acknowledgment for all corporate sponsorships and public donations in excess of $250.00, or as otherwise required by law. This acknowledgment will include the Company’s EIN and a statement confirming whether any goods or services were provided in exchange for the contribution, in accordance with IRS substantiation requirements.
FIREFIGHTER CHARLIE INC reserves the right to decline any sponsorship or donation that is deemed inconsistent with the Company’s mission, values, or legal standing. Corporate partnerships must align with the Company’s goal of empowering youth with essential safety knowledge and supporting the First Responder community.
The Board of Directors of FIREFIGHTER CHARLIE INC reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time to reflect changes in regulatory requirements or organizational priorities.
